What did you mean? Isn't the logical thing to make it so sheep simply can't target items?
Combat - Attack 1 - Targets Allowed (ua1g): remove "Item"

But I want them to be able kill items! And theres no event such that Unit kills (item) or Item (dies) that can trigger my respawn rune function.

Then do a periodic event checking if the item is alive. o.O
